Creating a Killa (Fort) using rocks and soil, decorating it with miniature Mavalas (Shivaji Maharaj's soldiers), and growing grass on the Killa has been a tradition in Maharashtra since a long time. Some even go the extra mile by creating real-life miniature replicas of the actual forts and even there are local and state-level competitions in Maharashtra. However, we noticed that kids growing up in Canada are missing out on this fun activity during Diwali mainly due to cold temperatures.

Presenting Rekhatan's brand new and exclusive Diwali Killa (Representative miniature fort built by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj). In order to continue this tradition in Canada as well, we designed a fort made of MDF and made it into an assembly to give it a more modern but yet similar feeling.

Let the kids have fun assembling the fort made of MDF and decorated with precisely engraved beautiful ethnic designs.

The assembly includes 6 watch towers, Supporting walls, 1 Dindi Darwaja (Royal entrance), Steps to Sinhasan (Throne), 18 Mavalas (Shivaji Maharaj's soldiers), 4 Cannons, 1 Saffron Flag, 1 Shivaji Maharaj Statue. Let the tradition of building Killa continue.
